We are seeking skilled Machinists to program set up, and operate our CNC Vertical & Horizonal Milling centers on 1st shift

Will consider providing on the job training to candidates who have completed a program or certificate in precision machining

Duties:

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Programs mills by entering instructions
• Sets-up mills by installing and adjusting as needed
• Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in setup and operation of vertical or horizontal machining centers.
• In-depth knowledge of related G-code functions.
• Good understanding of GD&T and drawing interpretation
• First piece and In-process inspection knowledge preferable.
• Ability to maintain machine and machine tools.
• HSD/GED
